HICKORY, N.C. (WHKY) – A Hickory woman was placed behind bars Saturday morning (September 5) on drug and stalking charges. Catawba County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 37-year-old Leanna Danielle Morrison at a home on Valley Court. Morrison faces a felony charge of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, along with misdemeanor counts of stalking, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of schedule IV controlled substance.

Morrison was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond. Her first appearance in Newton District Court is set for Tuesday (September 8).
