CLAREMONT, N.C. (WHKY) – 35-year-old Katie Danielle Buckner of Shook Road in Claremont was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with habitual larceny and failure to appear on a count of abandonment of an animal. Following the Tuesday (September 1) arrest, Buckner was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $6,000 bond. District Court dates were scheduled for Thursday (September 3) and September 14.
