The North Carolina State Board of Elections is seeking public input on four proposed administrative rules and rule changes related to campaign finance disclosures and complaints.

The public comment period opens today, July 1, and continues through August 31. The proposed changes involve building fund rules, campaign finance complaints and investigations, certification threshold requirements, and waiver rules.

An in-person public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on August 3 at the State Board of Elections in Raleigh. Residents may also submit comments online, by email, or by mail.
