39-year-old Cedric Eugene Wallace of Cypress Loop in Newton was arrested today (July 3) by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with discharge a weapon into occupied property, assault by pointing a gun, and discharging a firearm in the city limits. Wallace was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
