LENOIR, N.C. (WHKY) – A Lenoir man is facing an attempted murder charge. 49-year-old Tracy Aaron Woody, of Fire Station Lane, was arrested Tuesday (September 1) and charged with felony attempted first-degree murder.

According to court documents, Woody allegedly attempted to kill a female victim. The incident occurred Tuesday. No additional details were available regarding this case.

Woody is being held without bond. The arrest was made by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. A Wednesday (September 2) court date was scheduled in Lenoir.
