CONOVER, N.C. (WHKY) – Conover Police arrested an Alexander County man Saturday (September 12). 44-year-old Reed Oliver Parkhurst of NC Highway 16 South in Taylorsville, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operators license and failure to wear a seat belt.

Parkhurst was being held in the Catawba County Detention Facility following the arrest. A Monday (September 14) appearance was scheduled in Catawba County District Court.
