NEWTON, N.C. (WHKY) – A 31-year-old Sherrills Ford man is facing felony stalking and domestic violence-related charges. Thomas Dylan Miller, of Coves Point Court, was arrested September 6 by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Miller is charged in Mecklenburg County with felony stalking and misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protective order.

Court records state that the suspect allegedly made numerous attempts to contact the female victim despite a domestic violence protective order being in place. On one day the suspect allegedly sent 38 text messages and called the victim 13 times.

Miller was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. His next court date is scheduled for September 8.
