46-year-old Scottie Wayne Tolbert of Jonesville in Yadkin County, N.C. was arrested by Hickory Police yesterday (May 3) on a felony warrant as a fugitive awaiting extradition to another state. He is wanted by authorities in Greenville County, South Carolina for failure to appear on a dangerous drugs charge. Tolbert was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he is being held under a $75,000 secured bond. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
