Work Planned At Hickory Intersection, Power To Be Out At That Location Next Week
Beginning Monday, March 6, the power will be turned off at the intersection of 4th Street NW and 2nd Avenue NW in Hickory so that crews can install new traffic signal mast arms. Work zones will be set up and lane closures will be in place. Stop signs will be installed on the 4th Street NW approaches.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. The power at this intersection is expected to out for one week. The city is asking drivers to use extreme caution when traveling through or near this intersection to help protect work crews.
