LENOIR, N.C. (WHKY) — A woman was jailed Tuesday, September 29, on charges including misdemeanor child abuse.

Alexandria Elizabeth Williams, 44, also faces charges of simple assault and resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer.

Williams was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center at 6:40 p.m.

A $1,500 surety bond was listed on the child abuse charge.
