43-year old Tracy Lynn Kilpatrick of Stony Point was arrested Tuesday (August 15) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and probation violation. A simple assault charge is pending from an earlier arrest.

According to the North Carolina Department of Correction Offender Public Information website, Tracy Lynn Kilpatrick has multiple convictions dating back to 1999. She’s been convicted in Catawba and Iredell Counties of multiple offenses including felony counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon. Her last conviction was in April, 2023 for possession of drug paraphernalia. She received probation and an 18 month suspended sentence.

Kilpatrick was jailed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (August 21). A District Court date was scheduled today.
