29-year-old Samantha Marie Pledger of Crawley Higgins Avenue in Morganton was arrested Saturday (November 26) by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance (heroin). Pledger was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. She is not listed as an inmate in Burke County today (November 28). A District Court appearance was scheduled today in Morganton.
