On Thursday (March 7), an officer with the Morganton Department of Public Safety conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on South Sterling Street for an equipment violation. Police reports show the seizure of one gram of fentanyl, 1.2 grams of meth, and .6 grams of marijuana. Miller was incarcerated in the Burke County Jail under $10,000 secured bond. She was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court Friday. Her next District Court date is set for March 28.
