37-year-old Sarah Michelle Franklin of Mclean Street in Morganton was arrested by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged on a felony warrant as a fugitive from justice. She was taken into custody August 25. She also faces a misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer.

Franklin was arrested at approximately 3:45 p.m. last Friday. Franklin was served a Burke County Warrant For Arrest for Fugitive from Harford County, Maryland for probation violation. The probation was imposed on charges of first-degree burglary and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Franklin was listed on the Harford County most wanted list.

She was incarcerated in the Burke County Jail without bond. District Court dates were scheduled for Friday (September 1) on the resisting an officer charge and for Thursday, September 7 on the fugitive charge.
