Woman Arrested by Conover PD On Firearm Charge, More Than 20 Failure To Appear Counts

25-year-old Cara Leanne Faile of Thomasville was arrested Wednesday (May 26) by Conover Police Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. In addition, Faile is charged with 22 counts of failure to appear. She allegedly missed court dates to answer to charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, larceny, and breaking and entering.

Faile was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $70,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (May 27). Faile is also scheduled to make District and Superior Court appearances June 7.
