22-year-old Jacob Nathaniel Spivey of Furnie Hinson Road in Whiteville was arrested Wednesday (April 12) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with two-felony counts assault causing serious injury of law enforcement or probation and parole officer. He was also charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, misdemeanor second-degree trespass, and resisting a public officer. Spivey remains jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $50,000 secured bond and a District Court date scheduled for April 13.
