HICKORY, N.C. (WHKY) – A Hickory roadway will be closed later this week. Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday (September 3), a private contractor will close Fourth Street SW from Fourth Avenue SW to Sixth Avenue SW in Hickory for water & sewer tap installation. Weather permitting, this work should be completed by Friday, (September 4). Please exercise caution when traveling through this area for the safety of the crews.
