59-year-old Cynthia Leigh Ritchie of Grottoes, Virginia, was arrested Thursday (January 7) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged on a felony warrant as a fugitive from another state and misdemeanor failure to appear. Ritchie is wanted in Virginia on unspecified charges. She was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $500 secured bond on the failure to appear charge and no bond on the fugitive charge. A District Court appearance is scheduled for Monday (January 11).
