LINCOLNTON, N.C. (WHKY) – 44-year-old Nathon Allan Matney of Reepsville Road in Vale has been arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on charges involving a victim listed as a child under the age of 13. According to jail records in Lincoln County, the suspect was booked shortly after midnight Wednesday (August 12). He is charged with first-degree sexual offense involving a victim under 13 and indecent liberties with a child.

The suspect was being held in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond. His next court date is scheduled for September 1.
