25-year-old Kenneth Tyler Lane Childers of Pheasent Road in Vale was arrested Wednesday (March 17) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen goods, interfere with an electronic monitoring device, and three counts of felony probation violation out of county. Childers was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $80,000. District Court appearances were scheduled today (March 18) and April 7. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for March 29.
