31-year-old Natasha Rae Stanley of Hickory Avenue NW in Valdese was arrested last Thursday (April 27) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. She’s charged with six counts of felony probation violation out-of-county. She’s also charged with two misdemeanor counts of resist, delay, or obstruct a public officer and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stanley is on probation as a result of convictions in September, 2022 in Catawba County, October, 2022 in Davie County, and January, 2023 in Burke County. She was convicted on charges including felony counts of credit card theft, larceny from a merchant, larceny of a motor vehicle and identity fraud. Stanley received probation and suspended sentences following the convictions.

Stanley was arrested last Thursday afternoon after a Public Safety Officer Responded to an address on Vine Arden Road in Morganton following a disturbance complaint. Stanley was incarcerated in the Burke County Jail, where she remained as of earlier today (May 3) under $70,000 secured bond. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for July 17.
