21-year-old Tyreese Tre’vaugh Berry of Berrytown Avenue in Valdese was arrested Monday (July 31) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with three counts of felony probation violation out-of-county.

Berry is on probation as a result of a conviction in Burke County on February 28, 2023 on felony counts of breaking & entering, larceny after breaking & entering, and larceny of firearms. The crimes were committed in March and August of 2022. Berry received probation and a 24 month suspended sentence.

Following Monday’s arrest, Berry was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $60,000 bond. A Superior Court date is scheduled for August 24.
