32-year-old Jesse Matthew Whitaker of 3rd Avenue SW in Valdese was arrested Tuesday (May 9) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with three felony counts of break or enter a motor vehicle and one misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer. Whitaker was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $5,000 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (May 10). A District Court appearance was scheduled Tuesday.
