TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — The United States Postal Service will host a hiring event this week for anyone interested in joining the agency.

The event will take place Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Taylorsville Post Office, located at 220 First Avenue Southwest.

USPS officials say they are hiring for a variety of positions across multiple career fields and are encouraging job seekers of all experience levels to attend. Postal Service representatives will be available to answer questions about available jobs, explain job duties and expectations, discuss pay and benefits, and help applicants complete the application process on-site.

USPS says the hiring event is designed to connect qualified applicants with employment opportunities while providing one-on-one assistance throughout the application process.
