United Arts Council Announces New Director

Ingrid Anna-Lisa Keller, Executive Director of the Western Piedmont Symphony, is leaving her position to become Executive Director of the United Arts Council of Catawba County. Ms. Keller has led the symphony since 2016.

Ms. Keller grew up in Catawba County, graduating from Maiden High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Elon University and a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy from the University of London. She was a winner of the Hickory Young Professionals Top 10 Under 40 award in 2020. Ms. Keller has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Lake Hickory since 2016 and is currently President-Elect. She has served on the Newton Public Art Commission and performed in theatrical productions with Hickory Community Theatre and The Green Room.

Ms. Keller will begin her duties with the United Arts Council on November 15 of this year. She replaces Kathryn Greathouse, who will retire at the end of 2021 after 26 years in that position.
