BETHLEHEM, N.C. (WHKY) -Two Hickory women face multiple charges following an investigation into alleged prostitution activity at Energy Wellness Center in Bethlehem. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested Yuxiang Huang and Na Yu Tuesday (September 16) after receiving complaints about suspected activity at the business.

Huang, age 47, faces felony charges of promoting prostitution for profit and felony conspiracy, along with resisting a public officer. She is being held under a $100,000 secured bond.

Yu, age 49, faces felony charges of promoting prostitution for profit, felony conspiracy and offering bribes, along with misdemeanor prostitution and resisting a public officer. Her secured bond is $160,000.
Both women are scheduled to make their first court appearances September 21.
