34-year-old Ervin Andrew Billings and 36-year old Rachel Louise Hicks both of Wilkesboro, were arrested by Taylorsville Police on July 29. Billings was charged with two counts of larceny and served arrest warrants from Wilkes County for felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, false imprisonment and assault on a female. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center where he remains as of earlier today with a secured bond of $105,000. Hicks was charged with larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hicks has been released under a secured bond of $5,000.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 14th. Hicks has a previous charge pending in Wilkes County for shoplifting/concealment of goods. She is scheduled for court on that charge on July 5th. Billings and Hicks were scheduled to appear in Court today.
