39-year-old Brandy Ann Coffey Pelham and 40-year-old William Sherman Setzer both of Spencer Lane in Lenoir were arrested Tuesday (April 11) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. Setzer was charged with felony first-degree rape of a child and Pelham was charged with one felony count of accessory before the fact of first-degree rape of a child.

Both Brandy Ann Coffey Pelham and William Sherman Setzer were jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $100,000 secured bond each. Pelham and Setzer both remain in jail as of this morning with a District Court date appearance scheduled for April 12.
