Two Lenoir Residents Arrested for Conspiring to Traffic Heroin

38-year-old Michelle Gieava Gill of Folk Street in Lenoir and 31-year-old Kwan Develle Gibbs of High Circle in Lenoir were arrested Friday (January 6) by Lenoir Police Officers. She was charged with five felonies: conspiring to traffic opium or heroin, manufacturing marijuana, selling or delivering a schedule one controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance, and the manufacture, sale, deliver, and possession of controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park. Gill remains in jail as of this morning with a $250,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for January 19. Develle was charged with four felonies: trafficking in heroin or opium, conspiring to traffic heroin, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance, and the manufacture, sale, delivery, and possession of controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park. Gibbs remains in jail as of this morning with a $1,000,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for January 9.
