Events leading to the arrests began on December 31 when Deputies responded to the Amity Hill Road residence in an attempt to serve Lisa Ann Evans with felony narcotics warrants. Upon arrival, Deputies located Evans and took her into custody. While searching the suspect for weapons, they found Evans to be in possession of cocaine.

Based on additional evidence at the scene, Deputies applied for a search warrant for the rest of the residence. The search warrant was issued, leading to the discovery of 34.67 grams of cocaine and 193.8 grams of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia. Shook and the third suspect were also present at the residence. They were taken into custody without incident.

All three suspects were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. Evans, who was out on bond on unrelated charges at the time of her arrest, was held without bond on the latest charges. Shook was given a $5,000 secured bond. Bond for the third suspect was set at $1,000, secured. Evans and Shook will appear in District Court on January 23.
