22-year-old Davante Lee McCullough of Granite Falls and 29-year old Amber Breann Thorton of Wilkesboro have both been arrested and charged in connection with a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon, south of Taylorsville. They were both charged with felony discharging a firearm into occupied property.

At 1:52 p.m. Wednesday (May 15), Alexander County 9-1-1 took a call concerning shots that were fired into a residence off Mallory Lane.
