Two Area Defensive Standouts Continue in East-West All Star Football Game Win

The East-West All-Star football game caped off the week of festivities of the North Carolina Coaches Association clinics at Grimsley High School’s Jamieson Stadium Wednesday night.

Hickory’s Jake Prince and Hibriten’s Quaidyn Tugman represented the area in the game. Both played on defense. Prince was a defensive lineman and Tugman was an outside linebacker.

Prince started, had a solo tackle and three assists and also served as the team long snapper.

Tugman came off the bench to help lead a West defense that limited the East to just 16 yards rushing on 23 carries and 103 yards of passing.
