Twin Brothers Arrested Following Traffic Stop, Seizure Of Marijuana, Mushrooms

21-year-old Carlos Manuel Clark and 21-year-old Christopher Lewis Clark, both of the same Cornelius, N.C. address, were arrested Tuesday (May 21) by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. Carlos Clark is charged with three felony counts of flee to elude arrest, single felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of schedule VI controlled substance. He also faces traffic charges.

Christopher Clark is charged with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance.

On Tuesday, Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers arrested twin brothers Carlos and Christopher Clark. Deputies were notified by Charlotte Mecklenburg and Huntersville Police Officers that the two men were traveling through Iredell County. They told deputies that Carlos Clark had felony warrants for his arrest as a result of fleeing from law enforcement in both Union County and Mecklenburg County.

The officers intercepted the vehicle and positively identified both Carlos and Christoper Clark inside of it. The traffic stop was conducted on River Highway in Mooresville. A K-9 officer was deployed around the vehicle and gave a positive indication to the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and deputies found 371 Grams of marijuana, 323 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, and U.S currency consistent with the sale of narcotics.

Both Carlos and Christian Clark were placed under arrest and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. They were jailed without bond due to the fact that they were under previous release orders. Christopher Clark has a District Court date June 10, Carlos Clark is scheduled to make a District Court appearance June 11.
