GASTONIA, N.C. (WHKY) — A presidential campaign appearance is scheduled in Gastonia this week. President Donald Trump will visit Wednesday, September 16, according to an announcement from U.S. Senate candidate Michael Whatley.

The Mecklenburg County Republican Party’s event notice lists the appearance for 7 p.m. at Gastonia Municipal Airport.

Whatley announced the visit on his campaign’s Facebook page, describing Gastonia as his home and welcoming the president’s upcoming appearance.
