Tri-County Motor Speedway Saturday Program Rained Out

HUDSON, N.C. (WHKY) — Saturday night’s racing program at Tri-County Motor Speedway was washed out because of inclement weather. Fans and race teams had reported the rainout on social media following Saturday’s scheduled event, with the track on Sunday announced that rain checks from the Aug. 1 program will be honored at its next race on Aug. 29.

The Aug. 1 schedule was slated to feature the Grand National Super Series along with the track’s regular divisions before persistent rain forced the cancellation. No makeup date for the event has been announced.

Tri-County Motor Speedway is currently scheduled to return to action on Saturday, Aug. 29 with its Sunbelt Night program, featuring Late Models, Limited Late Models, Outlaws, Street Stocks, Carolina Mini Stocks and Front-Wheel Drives. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
