49 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Wednesday (November 4) by Catawba County Public Health, increasing the overall tally to 4,880, with 67 deaths. There were 44 people hospitalized, three fewer than Tuesday (November 3).
Burke County Public Health Wednesday reported the county’s 62nd and 63rd coronavirus-related deaths. One of the individuals was in their 70s and was hospitalized. The other was in their 80s and was not hospitalized. 24 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Wednesday in Burke County, increasing the total to 3,221. There were six people hospitalized in Burke County with the coronavirus.
Caldwell County health officials Wednesday reported the county’s 33rd COVID-19-related death. The patient was between the ages of 65 and 74, was reported to have underlying health conditions, and was hospitalized. 30 new coronavirus cases were reported Wednesday in Caldwell County, increasing the total to 2,708. 20 people were hospitalized.
No new cases of COVID-19 were reported Wednesday in Alexander County, leaving the total at 973, with ten deaths.
