Three Suspects Arrested In Catawba County Drug Investigation

30-year-old Ryan Rudy Elledge of Sherrills Ford, 26-year-old Sara Alexandra Winters of Newton, and 37-year-old Natalie Nicole Davis of Maiden, were all arrested Monday (February 26) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers.

Elledge is charged on an outstanding federal narcotics indictment along with counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. Winters is charged with trafficking schedule II controlled substance and felony probation violation. Davis is charged with two counts of felony probation violation.

On Monday, investigators with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Cordia Circle. During the search investigators found and seized 33.49 grams of fentanyl, 2.1 grams of methamphetamine and $1,815 in United States currency.

Elledge was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond, Winters received a $25,000 secured bond, and bond for Davis was set at $15,000 secured. All three suspects were scheduled to make District Court appearances Tuesday (February 27).

Agents and investigators with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, Hickory Police Department and Maiden Police Department assisted in this investigation.
