Three Probation Absconders Arrested in Burke County

28-year-old Natalie Anne Henson of Rhoney Road in Connelly Springs, 27-year-old Victor Tyrone Coffey of Wortman Street in Connelly Springs, and 34-year-old Kenneth Blake Clark of Barus Pond Loop in Valdese have all been arrested by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers as felony absconders from probation. Henson was also charged with felony possession of methamphetamine.

They were arrested after Sheriff’s Officers, Officers with the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections, and United States Marshals conducted a joint operation to locate and arrest felony probation absconders. During the operation, Natalie Anne Henson was found fleeing from a structure on Rhoney Road in an attempt to evade law enforcement. She was taken into custody after a short foot chase and was reportedly found to be in possession of meth. Henson had been evading apprehension since September of last year.

Yesterday (January 11), Victor Tyrone Coffey was taken into custody without incident at a residence on Wortman Street. Coffey had been evading apprehension since August of last year. Kenneth Blake Clark was arrested without incident at his residence. Clark had been evading apprehension since September 2022.

Henson was jailed on a 48-hour hold and given no bond. Coffey and Clark were also jailed without bond. Henson was scheduled to appear in District Court yesterday while the other two suspects were due in court today. Henson has additional District Court dates coming up on January 29 and February 1. All three suspects have Superior Court appearances set for February 7.
