31-year old Leslie Ann Austin of Taylorsville was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies yesterday (August 28) on felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver meth, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance. She was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Over 70 grams of methamphetamine were seized as the result of Austin’s arrest. The investigation is ongoing. Austin was taken to the Alexander County Detention Center where she was given a secured bond of $250,000. A District Court date was set for October 2.
