Taylorsville Woman Charged With Felony, Misdemeanor Probation Violations

40-year-old Cindy Darlene Moore of Taylorsville was arrested Monday (January 30) by authorities in Alexander County. She’s charged in Alexander County with one count of felony probation violation out of county and two counts of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Moore faces additional charges in Alexander including felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and possession of controlled substance on jail premises Moore also faces traffic charges in Catawba and Iredell Counties.

Moore was convicted in Iredell County on October 5, 2022 of misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked. Following the convictions she received probation and an 18 month suspended sentence. Moore was listed as an absconder from probation/parole supervision on the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction Offender Public Information website. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center Monday under $7,000 secured bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (January 31). A Superior Court date is set for February 6 in Taylorsville.
