TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — A Taylorsville woman was arrested after Alexander County deputies served a larceny warrant issued in neighboring Catawba County.

According to our news partner, WACB, 31-year-old Brittni Sky Lyons, of Cedar Woods Road in Taylorsville, was arrested Monday on an outstanding Catawba County warrant charging her with larceny. At the time of the report, Lyons was no longer listed in custody in either Alexander or Catawba counties.

Court records show Lyons has pending Catawba County cases dating back to 2024, including charges involving financial card theft, obtaining property by false pretenses and felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Those cases are separate from the newly served larceny warrant.
