29-year-old Brittni Sky Lyons of Cedarwoods Road in Taylorsville was arrested by Hickory Police Tuesday morning (October 24) for felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance. She was taken into custody without incident at about 11 a.m. Tuesday at a big box retailer on Highway 70 S.E. in Hickory. Lyons was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $2,000, secured. She remained in jail as of this afternoon (October 27). A first appearance in District Court was scheduled Wednesday (October 25) in Newton with her next court date coming up on November 14.
