Taylorsville Man Jailed On Felony Charge
26-year-old Dakota Lee Farmer of Taylorsville was arrested Saturday (August 19) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony probation violation. Farmer is on probation as a result of a conviction on June 6, 2022 in Alexander County for felony counts of sale and delivery of schedule II controlled substance and conspiracy. He received probation and a 24 month suspended sentence.
Farmer is awaiting trial on felony counts of conspiring to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, breaking and entering, and larceny. Farmer was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. He remained in jail as of earlier today (August 22). A Superior Court date is scheduled for September 18.
