43-year-old Michael Franklin Rockette of Rink Dam Road in Taylorsville was arrested Saturday (August 12) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of attempted first-degree murder and discharge a weapon into occupied property. Rockette is also charged with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun. Rockette was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (August 14).
