29-year-old Roderick Garin Baker of Taylorsville was arrested last Thursday (October 26) by Probation and Parole Officers. He’s charged with two counts of probation violation.

Baker is on probation as a result of a conviction on October 9 of this year in Alexander County. Baker was convicted of resisting an officer and assault on a female. Baker received probation and a 24 month suspended sentence. Baker is also facing previous charges of assault on a female, assault on a government official and resisting arrest.

The suspect remained in the Alexander County Detention Center as of earlier today (November 1) under $10,000 secured bond. A District Court appearance is set for November 13.
