44-year-old Jacob Nelson Teague of Taylorsville was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers Sunday (August 27) on charges of felony larceny of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury. A warrant was also served from Haywood County for driving while license revoked.

Teague was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center where he is being held without bond. He was scheduled to appear in District Court yesterday (August 29) with another Alexander County court date coming up on August 29. An appearance in a Haywood County courtroom was set for September 27.
