54-year-old Michael John Trytek of Taylorsville was arrested Saturday (February 25) by authorities in Alexander County and charged with felony assault by strangulation. He was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond and remained in jail as of earlier today (February 27). A District Court date was scheduled today.
