52-year old Jeffery Ray Minton of Taylorsville was arrested last Friday (August 4) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor communicating threats. Minton was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (August 9). A District Court date is set for August 21.
