34-year-old Brandon Allan Blevins of Taylorsville was arrested Monday (May 8) by Taylorsville Police Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine along with misdemeanor counts of simple possession of schedule II and schedule IV controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.

Blevins was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. He remained in jail under that bond amount as of earlier today (May 11). Blevins is also awaiting trial on a long list of previously filed traffic charges that include driving while license revoked and operating a vehicle with no insurance. He’s scheduled to appear in District Court on all charges next Monday (May 15).
