43-year-old Michael Eugene Crafton of Taylorsville, was arrested Tuesday (October 10) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He was served arrest warrants for failure to appear for probation violation and driving while license revoked. Crafton was also charged with failing to appear on a driving while license revoked count in Catawba County.

Crafton is on probation as a result of a conviction in Burke County in October, 2020 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He received probation and a 36 month suspended sentence. Following Tuesday’s arrest, Crafton was released on $3,000 bond. An Alexander County District Court date is November 6. District Court dates are scheduled in Catawba County for October 23 and November 8.
